Hi folks

There's a saying:
the best you can do with your pants on.
And motorcycling is definately that.

I started with mopeds (never owned one, though) I
had an opportunity to try. Then I bought an Yamaha 80cc
(early '70's model) with a buddy of mine. We drove
small sandy roads no matter what the weather was.
Without a license. Fortunately nothing serious ever
happened. Well, once I missed a 90 degree corner
and continued by tracktor trails...

That was it. A year or two later I quit high school
just for one year (and got back later as planned).
Had to fight with my parents who didn't understand
my motives. I never told the real one:
TO GET A BIKE !!

So, I had a lousy and dirty job and saved money.
Never really managed to do that, not before and never
later. Anyway that worked. Finally '73 GT380 (a Suzie)
was mine. Drove 6500km/3,5months during one summer ('79),
sold the bike, went back to school, army, studies, family,
a lot of work and - all those years I thought: one day...

That day was Aug. 15, '97.
